Amazon sword problems

I know amazon sword are suppose to be a easy plant to keep but I don't know why mine keep dying slowly and regrowing . I don't have co2 but I have a build my led that was made for planted tanks . I tried using the flourish stuff once but them my tank broke out with hair algae and now I'm afraid to use it again . I've even tries root tabs and still no good . Any expert advice

Not enough lighting, especially for a tall tank. That's why algae grew when you put flourish in it, it provided nutrients to the algae.

Looks like your top cover plants may be shading the plants. Make sure light is getting to them. My initial guess was lack of light and now I can confirm that with the blockage.
