Awhile back a couple was moving out of province so I drove 3 hour round trip for a 180, than last week a couple wanted to tear down African tank 4 hour drive round trip. Bought 40 fronts and 5 peacocks for a hundred bucks. Sold them to lfs. Next day they call come get tank so drive another 4 hours for a complete 135 setup. Now going on another adventure for a 4x2x2 for a angelfish tank. Also a 4 hour round trip. So what are some of your adventures?

I crash at the K-Pg
Ten hours round trip. And the bugger died by the time I got home. I almost quit the hobby over that one.

I routinely drive to Chicago, 3 hours round trip.
And if I'm making a trip somewhere, I take advantage of the trip.
My son has had some hockey games in Minneapolis, 12 hour round trip, I picked up fish not available in Milwaukee, and always go to Forest Lake Pets.
And when I took the kids to Disney world a number of years back, I made sure to stop at Don Conkels Tropicals, and bring back a box load of cichlids.

I drove 12 hours round trip to get my first Albino Wels, and my Tropical Gar.

It was not intentional, but I came home with my Longnose Gar, from Florida, so 3 or 4 days one-way with overnight stops.

I drove 11 hours 750 miles one way and then back picking up stingrays. Total 1,500 miles round trip 22 hours even though it really was longer really. Drove up spent the night and then loaded up super early and drove back. It was worth it and a fun mini vacation but all for the stingrays nothing else. Well and I met a nice vendor.

Tank- 350 miles 5 hours one way. total trip 10 hours and 700 miles. L shape 450 gallon tank I later sold a month later. Lol it didn't last long at my place didn't even get setup.
