What if someone living in the United States were to buy an Asian arowana online over the internet from a breeder or call in an order for one? Would it get stopped at the border of the U.S or will it proceed to your house or will the seller not be able to ship it at all Or would you get prosecuted just for trying to buy it...I was just curious I was talking to one of my buddies about what may happen

It really all depends on who is actually doing their job that day. The seller shouldn't sell it to anyone in the u.s. The people who check it shouldn't let it pass through then if it gets to the u.s. It shouldn't be let out the airport then if all goes well for the buyer and they let him/her have it then the rest is up to the buyer to sneak it into their tank

I wouldn't think nothing would happen to the buyer unless the police can prove purchase of it and or have evidence of it in the buyers possession.

Who were to ever do this just use common sense and think ahead and plan out scenarios

The buyer would likely be executed. Dont get executed, just buy legal fish.
