hey was thinking on doing a diy background for my 120 gal and was wondering if anyone ever carved a 3d background covered it with a layer of something foil saran poly something that fiberglass wont melt. then fiberglass over every thing and you would have a extremely light weight back ground that would barely float. after you had the fiberglass shell you could cover it with quickrete or whatever ..... whats your guys thoughts any one ever try something like this ?
