Hi bros,

I bought this stingray quite long ago already and it has been eating well and growing fast. Only problem here is that it has no tail (was already like that when i bought it) and the other stingrays like to gnaw on the end of his non-existent tail till it bleeds. I dont like to see the tail bleeding and hope to find a solution to stop this. I isolated this ray to let the tail fully heal and be covered back before but when i put it back in the main tank, the same thing happens. I was wondering if I can do a plastic cap to cover the tail to prevent this from happening? Also, are his claspers matured yet? Seems rolled up to me :) Hope to hear some suggestions :)

He might be mature. I don't think you can do much about the rays chewing his tail other than keeping them apart. A plastic (or other) cap on his tail will likely irritate the tissue.
