Hi, I have a red tail giant gourami that is about 8" and I've had this fish for maybe 4 months and when I first had it, it was about maybe 4 or 5 inches long. The rtgg is in a 190 gallon fish tank with small parrot fish and a school of giant danios and it already hide near the over flow with the 3 parrot fish. The issue with this gourami is that it doesn't eat much and from what I'm reading, he should eat a lot. He would only eat pellets once every 2 days or so and if I tried to feed him more, he wouldn't eat it. I tried market shrimp and lettuce but that didn't work and I also tried adding hiding place by adding a few large fake plants and that also didn't work. But lately, the gourami is start to swim out more often but he still isn't eating too much. Is this normal for rtgg at this size or is there anything else I can do to make this fish eat more often?
