Driftwood dilemma

I was just recently given quite a bit of Malaysian driftwood by a friend and I was wondering if I could put it in the majority of my tanks. The fish that it would be in with are
-blue gouramis
-angelfish
-young RTC
-pictus cats
-eclipse cat
-golden shark
And possibly in with my bichirs. Also all these fish are not in the same tank just to make sure no one thinks I'm a terrible fish keeper lol any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Won't alter water chem too much will it? With tannins and such
