I woke up today to find my wet dry filter cracked and was leaking under my stand. Knowing the only way of getting it out was through the top of the stand. I had to break it apart to get it out( I wasn't draining my 150 and storing the fish and getting help moving it for a cracked wet dry filter). I than quickly built a temporary one out of a spare 20 high and the drip tray of the old one. I cut the retaining wall out of the old filter and used airline tubing slit down the center and placed over the outside edge to hold it in place in the 20 high. I then used egg crate and tie wraps to create a shelf for the bio balls and for the heater to go under. I used the sponge from the old filter and held it in place with the ends of the tie wraps. Then placed in my pump. It actually works just the same as the old one. Just thought I'd share. Just to show what you can do in a pinch.
