I'm ordering a co2 tank from a company and they are wondering which type of valve I would like put on it. Not sure what this means exactly lol. Can any one shed any light as to which valve I should tell them to put on?

Valve or regulator? Thought the co2 tanks themselves were pretty standard(a couple different types of threads) but a regulator can be quite complicated depending on need and budget

CGA 320 is the standard valve for CO2 in the United States and I'm fairly certain that Canada uses the same valve. If you end up with the wrong one it isn't all that difficult to get an adapter or change the stem on the regulator.

I think cga 320 is the common one, same as scuba tanks and such. Been a while since I researched it, but I know 320 is common.

May I ask why not just buy a prefab co2 tank? Easy enough to find 5lb tanks for about 70 bucks. If you have a home brew supply store, check there
