Howdy!

I have a 75 gallon tank for my Red-eared slider with an XP3 canister as my filter. Since it is in my bedroom I have the return piped in below the water line so it doesn't make any noise at night (I attach it to a spray bar during the day to get some oxygen in the water). So my question is: how much oxygen do my bacteria need? If I have zero surface agitation (well, except a splashy turtle) and no air stone, are my bacteria going to use all the oxygen up and die quickly? Would it take a while?

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Keep your return under the surface but close enough to cause ripples and you will be fine.
