Hello,
I have had my elegance coral for about a month now and I has been perfectly fine until the past couple days, it has started to close up more and produce some sort of white mucus from its tissue, I'm not sire whether or not it is dying. Any Input would be appreciated.

Thanks
~Sean

tentacles look really small (not good) - - try moving it closer to the light, less water flow and target feed Mysis shrimp or zooplankton.

Also what is your lighting , Alk , and Cal (color looks good Mag should be fine)

My calcium is 420, my alkalinity is 300 and I have the marineland reef capable led lighting system.

Is this beyond repair, I have done as much as I can to help it. But it didn't respond to feeding, I took it out of my main tank and put it in the hospital tank.
Anyone? Help?

One major problem I'm seeing is the lack of a calcified base (hence stony coral) looks to me as if that coral was doomed from the beginning. Whom ever spliced it didn't leave it with enuff of a calcified shell to survive. Aussie elegance coral is supposed to have a 2" cone shaped base - sorry for your lose.
