Just picked up a little red tailed arowana. He hurt himself on something because I didn't buy him with that small piece of flesh hanging off if you can see it.

Those are a type of convict cichlid I think, its only $6 for around 150-200 of them, they are between 1-2 inches long. No the aro actually just eats pellets.

The Tropicals were terrible to the aro unfortunately. I will grow the are up a little bit in a smaller tank (which I am currently doing) and then I will throw him back in with the gars to see if he is capable of surviving.
