Accidental MFK in Sydney and in need of assistance

Hi. Crazy I know, but a month ago a mate turned up saying he had to move his fish tank from a couple of doors up and could I babysit for a month. I knew this 4 weeks could easily turn into a lot longer....and so it seems that it has. I've been researching my monster. It's not the kind of monster I can ask about at a local fish store or even a specialist fish store. I have owned a fighting fish. I have never had a tank. I now have a monster fish which is completely irreplaceable so although I can read up on aquarium care if I stuff up it could be fatal to my new friend. And I really really really like this guy. Even if the only other predator in the house took one look at him did a 5 feet horizontal leap and had not entered the room since...

I want a knowledgeable monster owner in sydney (i live near the city) to give a me a crash course on freshwater tanks and act as a mentor if possible.

Ive called him Fish Face. Although some of his kind are shoal fish he is to be kept solo although he does have a couple of tiny "fish friends" that he is happy enough to take a live and let live approach with - so far anyway.

Hi. I know what it is and I'll be chatting and posting with kindred spirits at a later date. What I need now is a freshwater min400 litre pro to get me through the learning curve and given that I have no idea about tanks pumps filters etc I would prefer a local who's prepared to give a hand face to face cheers

I also understand the capability of computers to search so I don't want to mention my location name and fish name in the same thread. Hope this helps explain my reticence. I need a committed monster lover
