I have an asian red tail catfish that needs a new home, I brought it as a Wyckii at around 2" but it turned out to be an ARTC. He is very personable and very active at feeding time. I would love to keep him but unfortunately I will be overstocked if I keep all of them to adulthood so some have to go.
They are known for being aggressive, this 1 hasn't shown aggression to anything so far but I would still recommend a "wet pet" setup or possibly kept with aggressive cichlids like Justarn has had some successes keeping a Wyckii this way, I can post the link if needed.
He will need a large tank.
The pics are of him about 3 weeks ago but he still looks exactly the same but has a much redder tail now, he is I'm guessing 4-5"
Hopefully get some interest soon
