No, it being tail-less does not mean it doesn't jump. It jumps out the tank once and since then I keep the top covered at all times. Sometimes it jumps in the night, too. Its swimming looks fine. Here's a previous video of it catching and feeding on small frogs and it looks more "plain" then now. The video below was recorded few months ago...
First time I seen a heart arowana. Very interesting piece, the anal fin is huge. Nice work caring for him, good color.
