To the 57 thats been kinda just a box of water. Been so busy with work and moving I just never got to doing anything with it. I added one anubias plant last week and the rest 2 days ago. I know it isnt pretty yet, but im pretty sure this kessil will fill it out quickly, growth from the anubias is already very noticeable in a week.20140317_130923.jpg20140317_130855.jpg

Looks cool, I havent heard of Kessil, but i'll be interested to see how it grows and looks in the tank; I have a 56 gal myself and use anubias similarly :) pic below

Kessil is the light. Havent heard much at all about them so im kinda testing for myself. Im hoping within a month the plants really grab hold of the wood so I can cut off the zip ties. I just didnt want anything burried in the substrate so im sticking to anubias and java fern, maybe some frogsbit sometime

My anubias grew pretty slowly, its root structure is very dense so you won't see the zip ties in time, unless they are very thick.
