OK, this is foreign territory for me, so looking forward to some informed advice from the MFK community. I am having a 270 gallon custom tank made (72x36x24) and I have having the back tempered and drilled to allow for me to insert bulkheads for two 2262 Eheims. So, I figure 4 holes total. I don't like the look of the green Eheim stuff so I will either make my own or (more likely) use FX6 intake and output on the in-tank side of the bulkhead. My question for all of you is what size holes should I get drilled, where should the holes be, what bulkheads should I use (black, preferably) and what should I attach to them inside and outside (i.e., to the tubes leading to the canisters). Pictures and names and sizes MUCH appreciated, as I am completely in the dark on this stuff. Thanks in advance...the soon the better as I want to pull the trigger on the tank order. I promise to document with pics when the tank arrives.
