how big for $250 ?

Hey I was wondering roughly what size of used tank should I be able to get for $250 just the tank and maybe the stand. People on Craig's list are crazy saying $600 for a 55 gallon with stand I just want a rough size range that is reasonable. I'm not gonna waste $250 on anything under 100 gallons

Depends on whether you score or not. The past few weeks I've seen 2 125g+ tanks on craigslist for around $50 but I was always too late when I contact them. $600 for a 55g is straight up robbery though

Yeah I know people who buy tanks that are not really into the hobby automatically assume " Oh I have a giant 55 gallon it's worth at least $300 for just the tank alone"
