So in a search to make a 3D background I was talking with fellow workers and one suggested to take styrofoam and cut into rock forms and cover with some sort of plastic then remove the styrofoam

One suggested fiber glass the other said an epoxy and suggestions?

Maybe with the styrofoam removed it won't float it won't add much weight I can make it in sections to put it in easier then once in cover with some cement

I'm going to be making some tomorrow well at least try to out of styrofoam covered with cement the sealer with G4 pond sealer. I want to be able to remove the rocks if needed so they are going to be siliconed to bits of slate floor tile which should also stop them floating away
