Freshwater Crab - Any idea on ID?

Bought from LFS, a customer brought him in. They have no idea on ID. Mumbled something along the lines of phantom. Any guesses?

Not sure of an ID but it sure is a looker.I wonder if it is an African species?....They are rather rare in the hobby and can be pricey.

There are some nice Tanganyikan crabs that are sold every once and a while.

Think you're right. Looks like its a panther crab. Found a couple of videos of panther crabs on YouTube and it looks like my guy.

Bingo!

I've sold some through my work, they are pretty nice and hardy.

They don't need a land part, can live under water their whole life.
They eat most things in the tank, I feed my crab with this:

I currently have three of purple crabs, we call them purple crabs in Scandinavia (they're brown..?)

They behave and require the same as the panther crabs.
According to supplier they come from the same region as Panther crab.
