I have heard that black aros are more fragile than silvers when young. what size do they become as hardy as the silvers?

Blacks are usually clear sailing after 5" or so. Blacks seem to have a higher mortality rate in captivity when in their juvie colors. Excellent water quality is a must for juvie blacks. Not sure if they're ever equal to silvers for overall hardyness, not a major difference once big
