Which vendors are folks using often on aquabid? Any other highly recommended sites with interesting plants at decent prices? As soon as it warms up a bit more, I need to buy piles of plants. Thanks!!

Bartohog (great seller, I've bought from him before 100% healthy plants)


I've bought from a few people on there, all of the sellers I've bought from have sent really good plant packages. But, Bartohog is by far one of the top people to get plants from!!!! I'm sure the names Tom Barr, and Aaron Talbot ring a bell; If not just google the names, Aaron Talbot pretty much simplified the mineralized topsoil as an aquarium substrate, and Tom Barr is one of the top planted tank guys in the world and has his own planted forum site...

I agree with all of these aside from Barr....I've heard his shipping methods can be hit or miss, but those may have been isolated cases.

I also recommend https://www.facebook.com/HanAquatics aka h4n, and Joraan, as both are really good plant growers and easy to work with. there are also sometimes some interesting sales in APC (aquatic plant central), although mostly its the same people.

SBJ1984 (or something like that :S) is also a fantastic seller, most of the plants in my 10 came from him.
