So I'm thinking about getting a 250G tank in the future I was thinking this as the stock...
×1 bowfin
×1 tiger shovelnose
×2 endlicheri Bicher
×1 black arowana
×3 tiger datnoids
And some super powerful filters ... taking recommendations
And plants that would look good also need recommendations:naughty:

I would suggest not to get the tsn (maybe swap it out for a lima shovelnose, tigrinus, or a juruenese, depending on the footprint of your tank and the size of your wallet lol) and either get larger dats or no dats. They grow so slow and would easily be eaten by the rest of the stock list in a few months if all the fish are the same size to start. That's my 2 cents anyways. My smallest dat actually picked the hell out of the silver arowana I had, which was about 5 times the size. I had to move the little bugger to a different tank. He had to be moved soon anyways as he was at risk of being eaten.

I think it would be an interesting tank but I have to agree that the tsn would get to big to fast for your tank. The black arowana would also outgrow your tank pretty quickly depending on the footprint. To keep a black aro properly you may ultimately need a 4' wide tank.
