Bulk head flow

My 220 has a 1.5 inch over flow for years I've been running it the way it came its a flexible hose has a little dip in it as I'm about to set it up my question is should I buy PVC and have it straight with 2 45 degree angles or 2 90s I know I will lose flow with the 90 and the 45 but am I losing flow with the curvy bumpy hose it's got a bunch of ridges kinda like a pool filter hose
