just looking for some opinions and maybe get a question answered.

ive got a 75g tanganyikan tank.
1 6in frontosa
1 3in frontosa
1 tropheous morii
1 bracharti
1 oranotis
2 calvus
1 lilupe
1 cylidtracus
2 synadonis cats (one is about 4 inches and I think I should get rid of him)
1 pleco (about 5 inches)

I would like to add another tropheous or 2 in a few weeks, do I have the space?

and I have a decent about of slate rock, and naponi root. but would like some of those large snail shells I see in a lot of tanganyikan tanks.
does it matter? or will any large sail shell do the trick?

do my fish prefer to have a few plants as well? or is wood and rock good enough?

thanks guys

I wouldn't add any more tropheus to the tank unless your going to add 15. They do well singly or in a large colony. With only a few, they will fight, constantly. So if you want tropheus, I'd get rid of everything else and add a large colony.

I'd also get rid of either the cylindricus or the leleupi. They don't seem to like each other once they're grown. Plus if it's a male and a female, you could have a hybridization issue in time.

Also, those fronts are going to eat everything in that tank once they get big enough. A 75 is too small for fronts anyway. You can add snail shells if you want, that's up to you, and plants aren't necessary. They'll probably just get uprooted with all the fish activity.

Might not be what you want to hear, but you asked. Good luck.
