Hey guys, I've already shared on another thread that I got a flower horn
But just wanted to make a proper post in the proper section for him.i got this flowerhorn last weekend when I saw him in my old lfs about an hour and a halfs drive away. I am not totally sure of the type but I think he is a ZZ red dragon.loved him once I saw him. He has a big appetite and I am feeding him Grand Sumo Red and Hikari cichlid gold as well as cichlid staple. I am newish to flowerhorns he is my first real flowerhorn. I've kept parrots before that's why I say newish. He is 4 inches long or so and about 1.5 -2 inches tall all measurements are eyeballed.I will be updating in the future any info tips help will be Greatly appreciated as I am kinda new to the flowerhorn game. Anyways here he is my boy Zeus ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564074.858990.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564081.626057.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564067.635811.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564059.992659.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564134.436582.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564144.423414.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1396564117.802823.jpg

The diet you have selected for him sounds good. Keep his water warm 82-85 degrees, and keep it clean with 25-50% weekly water changes, as FH are easily susceptible to disease from poor water conditions. NEVER give him live food and if you want to treat him to something special you can hand feed him frozen blood worm once or twice a week as a treat. Other then that enjoy Zeus because FH are such amazing creatures!!

Nice Fh he looks very similiar to mine :D only thing is that mine is super aggressive. I feed him cichlid gold, bloodworms, plankton, and brineshimp. Its a menu that I switch up for him each day so he doesn't get tired of same old pellets. Keep yours update!
