Can a single Black Diamond Stingray live in a 6x2x2 for life?

Like the title says, I'm upgrading my tank, possibly getting a 6x2x2 or 8x2x2 and hoping to get a black diamond stingray for the tank. Are there any other stingrays that can live in that size tank for life.

No...but if you increase the width to 4-5' it can do the job for along time..

Here is a thread I posted with a 10" ray touching front to back on a 18" wide tank. A black diamond can grow double this size so not for life but until it is around 12"
