That is what they call a peru flower and yes it is a castexi. A very nice one at that, $400 is a good retail price for one. I would get it for sure

I currently have a regular flower ray (Polymotrygon Shroederi) the colombia/venezuela flower. It is a male with a 12" Disc. Would these 2 flower be okay? The one in the photo in the 1st post is about 8-9" disc, would they be compatible together?

Castexi are strong aggressive rays when they get over 8" which is what is needed to keep up with the aggression of most flowers. I have kept these two types together in the past and if anything the flower picked on the castexi instead of the other way around. I have also had this mix where they left each other alone. So hard to say, they both female?

Male flowers are not as aggressive so I would feel confident it will work out if you get it.

Is that a heater that the ray is laying on?
Yeah, but did you see the black protective sleeve outside the heater?
