Got my new baby African Arowana today! He's about 3" and I have been throwing in blood worms non stop, I think I've already thrown 6-7 today already and I'll throw 2 more before I go to bed tonight. He's doing pretty good, I also got some ghost shrimp for him today as well, idk if he ate them yet. He's in a 150 by himself and I put up a pic of the setup. Give me ideas and tips!
Thanks

150g for a 3" afro is really big IMO. He'll have trouble finding food :(. Grow it out in a 10g 1st ;). And feed it daily. Twice a day is good! And also, try to train it to eat pellets or crushed pellets :D. It's good for them! Nice pick up sir :).

A 10g..? Really? I put a lot of food in the tank like I 8-9 cubes of bloodworms today😁 you really think I should take him out..?

You don't have to but you are wasting your money on food. Actually, Arowana will feel safer in the smaller tank and will lower stress.

You should ;). Because feeding 8-9 cube of FBW could dirty the water quality and the chance that your afro will eat all of his food decrease. But it you put him in a 10G. A sponge filter will do it job and chances of him getting enough food will increase ;).

Yeah the 30 would work too, but I would only remove him from the tank he's apparently thriving in now if problematic tankmates were introduced
