Getting everything set up to move my ray from it's current grow-out tank to a new 150g grow-out tank. I have the 150 long but can trade it for the 150 wide. Should I stay with the 6-footer as my grow out or trade for the 4-footer and gain an extra 6" of width?

No brainer....... Width.

I can post pics of how happy a ray is in 18" width. He's not happy and he's not even a foot disk.

Every inch of width is Important

A lot of people I know had 30" wide tank but I had 32" and it made a different

To be fair I have new born pups in a 15" wide tank and they outgrow that in 3-4 months so I think 18" wide is pointless
