Hey everyone, I was at this fish store and they had gulper cats 5-6" each. I have a 15g fish tank set up with nothing in it and is ready for fish, all cycled through. It's a bare-bottom with no decoration or plants. Running 2 aquaclear 20 HOB. Is this tank big enough to keep one gulper by himself temporarily? If temporarily, how long? Thanks :)

IMHO, it should work until the gulper is ~6". Maybe even 8", but really stretching it, not for long. Keepers say theirs are quite sedentary.

Does anyone observe differently in a much larger tank than a minimum size tank or close to it?

Mine doesnt move much, well, except during feeding time. I think the tank should be ok for maybe a month or 2 but I'd upgrade it to at least a 40 breeder. Mine's about 6" and he lives in a 55 by himself.
He used to be in my 120 and he moved a bit more but not allot more.
