Sadly yesterday i noticed that my golden algae loach and yoyo loach were caovered in slime.. i knew they would die, bleeding from back half.. did water change as would usually do if illness in the tank.. only had melafix and pimafix, so put half of each in there hoping for best, but i knew this would probably not work as i needed slime and velvet treatment, but couldnt get any... got back to the house at midnight to find them both dead, took them out, hour later 3 more dropped dead.. this morning in total 16 fish have died.. there are still some alive, but i dont know what to do!? 5 of them look perfectly fine, but some look like they have slime on them.... anyone help me??

sounds like you have a ammonia problem.Maybe you threw off your bacteria in your tank when you did your water change or It could be a build up of organic in your gravel.when was the last time you vacuumed it?
