At the moment, the theory seems to be that they are genetically modified blue acaras (Andinoacara pulcher). They get to be about 5-6" and most people report them being much more aggressive than A. pulcher. I kept one for a bit, but it began to terrorize some of my other fish, so I rehomed it. They breed true, but the fry tend to have a high mortality rate like EBJDs do. I know some people are experimenting with breeding them with A. pulcher to see if the EB gene sticks.Picked these guys up yesterday very cool little fish.
Anyone else keep them?
Any info?
