Clown loaches value.

I know my lfs vendor's sheet sells them by small, med, and large and the prices seem quite cheap. But then I found out that the large was actually quite small (like four inches). Also, clown loaches grow painfully slow which also contributes to the high price of truly large loaches.

Pretty expensive around here $12.99-$15.99 for sm, $20-$30 for med and $39.00+ for Large.

I plan on making a road trip to San Antonio if I ever buy them(San Antonio has some cheap priced stores)

13 bucks for like 1.5 inchers here a piece I don't care they don't sell big ones I just want to be able to get 3/10$ lol.

We have outrageous prices for clowns here. Small are 16.99 and medium are around 36.00 at around the 3" mark. Shortly after they arrive you can expect the normal ich cycle and they are in quarantine, after which they are put out for sale. If you are a regular customer and go often you can watch the fish enter their skinny cycle. After battling for months the fish look ok and I'm sure the lfs can't wait to try and recoup what they have lost in medication time and energy in keeping but a handful alive. They do not appear to be very popular here. A few years back I picked up 22 loaches from 4-10" 12 xlarge angelfish and a ton of cichlids for $200.00. They had been up for sale for almost a year before I came across the ad. Several people looked at them, but no takers.(except for me)!!!! No ich, no skinny disease, only healthy well taken care of loaches. For this reason I will only, and have only purchased stock from private sellers.

2"-3" goes for about $10-$15 around here.

i want them for 3/10$...they sell around 7-15$ for a small here... T_T
