Any suggestions on what sort of catfish should I get for my 50gallons?
Currently it is occupied by a red lizard whiptail and a leopard bushfish and is interested in the less aggressive species.
Not looking for any form of raphaels, cories and syno too if possible.

How about a bunch of pictus cats or bumblebee cats. They're peaceful and swimming around usually. Not picky eaters. Won't get too big for ur tank.

Yeah, a bunch of 4-5 pictus cats would be cool, just beware there is one variety that grows to 10in, but they're easy to tell apart, just google it. If you get pictus cats, get at least 4 of them, as they are social schooling fish that stress and waste away when kept in ones or twos. What about a bristle nose pleco as well, very attractive plecos. there are quite a few varieties available, the biggest maxing out at just over 6in. cheers, Jim

Maybe Zamora wood cats. If there aren't too many places to hide the they are actively swimming around the tank. 4-5 would like nice in ur tank.
