I got mine at 6 inches or so back in 01/2011 and he is now about a foot long. Based on online resources they seem to live a while. I am just wondering who has first hand experience with a really old one and what size it was/is.

My 4-6 year old is only 10-13" :/ couldnt really tell with the constant movement.

Mine is in a 360. I've had it for 5 years now and it's a foot long. Seems to have stopped growing or growing very slow. I would love to see pics of a larger one :)

My mother has had hers for about 5-6 years. It's almost 16". The tank is 18" wide for reference.

Mine was about 7 yrs old. He died at 9" due to my tank busting.
