Dovii growth

I've had a my male dovii since he was about an inch and his growth had been kind of slow he's about 4 inches and I've had him for about 6 months thought he would grow a lot faster but didn't keep up with my jag it's strange anyone else notice he's at the upper level of being the boss in the tank ranks 3rd
