I had an outbreak and lost a whole tank of fish (my goldfish tank). Now I have a few columbian ramshorn snails that I would like to keep. Some of these guys are over 2" round. Is there a way to reliably sanitize a snail? I use Pot. Permag. on the plants and boiled the wood for half a day. Pat. Permag the tank followed by H2O2 then bleach(BTW, missed a red ramshorn that SURVIVED that!- shell is now bright white). So I am wondering if the red ram will contaminate or if I can treat the other snails safely? I've already put plants and wood back in the cleaned tank, as will as a few guppies and quarter size angels that were B1G1 lately. Cycle is going well, and I'm wanted to order some discus, but waiting to make sure an outbreak doesnt occur...
