Don't kill be but i was wondering if I could help the cycling process on my 220 with a small 4 inch pleco it's still another month or two till I get my umbees if I keep an eye on water chem and since the tank is so big and pleco so small would it harm him?

If you say yes it will harm him I won't do it as I haven't bought the pleco yet

A tiny pleco in a 220 would be fine, but whether that tiny fish would be enough to create enough waste to generate a cycle for the impact of the umbis at the time they are added, is the real question.
If the umbis are juvies it may work fine, if they are adults, or close to it, the lone pleco may be inadequate.
