Not rely but my 350 gallon blew a seam yesterday and water was everywhere. All the fish and rays were fine but i have no extra room for all the fish.

What a mess

Thats my biggest fear, tank blow outs. Wonder if there is any way to prevent it from happening at all or is it bound to happen...currently I know of a member on another forum who has the same tank for the past 38 years

Oh the fun and joy of it all, Another reason I got the leak detection unit for the new apex.

Guys you can prevent this... If you are SUPER worried about it then every 5 or so years drain the tank and reseal it just to be safe... I do not do this but if some of you guys are paranoid about this happening that could be a good solution!

Would love to know more details......

What brand of tank? How tall? How thick was the acrylic? Any signs that the seem was weak?

I feel horrible for you man...... What a bummer.
