i dont know where this topi should be long but

im building a plywood tank soon

im thinking of keeping asian arowana, peacock bass only 3 or less ,datnoids and stingrays proabbly motoros but when time comes blackdiamond only 2-3 rays

how big should the dimensoins be thats what im not sure about more even the height of the tank i know the width should be 32-36inches
8feet long but how much the height? thanks

Width should be 4-4.5 ft for rays and so........also if you want to build something big go for 3-4 ft height.....atleast ...and 8 ft length is ok...

those sizes kind seem big what you gave me i seen rays do well in a 36inch width tank and read online that 36inch is prefered

I would do 8x4x2. Seems a standard plywood sheet it 8x4 anyways. That way you could keep the costs of the viewing panel down. You would only need 1/2 inch glass or so.

2' height Is a bit small for an aro, if possible go for 3' it will make the aro morecomfortable.
