Hey,

I have a tiger DAT in an oddball community tank measuring 4' x 2'. The DAT at 4 to 5" is the biggest fish in the tank.

What dither fish could I add that would be bug enough not to be eaten but that would live in a 4' tank for life?

The DAT will be moved to a larger tank when he grows.

Thanks in advance.

SD,Tinfoils, anything that won't fit in his mouth.
I have a group of five spotted silver dollars in a 4' tank. I honestly wouldn't recommend it though. Although they stay fairly small, they really could use a longer footprint. When I had my large NTT in the 120 I found cichlids of any sort to be a great choice for tankmates. Up to about 9" I could house it with about anything. After 9" it kinda became aggressive. Keeping it with cichlids, even mild mannered ones, helped disperse the aggression. When I kept it with just a flagtail or just a group of SD without a cichlid it chased them relentlessly.

Thanks for the replies guys. Not sure what to go with. Not too keen on silver dollars.
