Hello
I tested my water at the store and they said the nitrate is alittle higher than normal... They said it's probably from the cities water. Is this fine for a baby arowana bc I'm suppose to get one tomorrow and the water is perfect other than that. Is this okay? Or should I do a water change?

What is "higher then normal"? Personally I wouldn't raise a baby aro in anything more then 10ppm of nitrate tested at the peak before water change.

10ppm no it will be fine below 60ppm

I have kept loads of aros in 80ppm with no problems

Just keep up weekly water changes and it will be fine trying to keep it 10 or below and you will be fighting a losing battle
