This morning I turned on my tank lights, and while I was making coffee I heard a loud bang in my 120.looked in my tank and my male jag was near my gar.I think the jag may have broken the gars back.the gar is having problems swimming, and his back is arched.as you can see in the pic.any thoughts as to what I can do.is it all over for the gar.

how big is the gar, I say it is best to take the Jag out and let the gar alone in that tank so it can have a better chance to heal up.
the Jag probably attack the gar so the gar try to get away with high speed and bang into the tank wall.

Just got home from work, gar looks pretty bad, upon closer inspection I say without a doubt his back is broken. It seams he has no use of his rear fins or tail.what are the odds of recovery? Anuone encounter this? Dont want to lose him but don't want him to suffer.do I put him down?

Looks like a broken back, some more pictures would be nice. My gar completely healed from a broken back, without any trace.
