I just purchased this 230 wide tank with a stand that is questionably built. My first question is whether or not the plywood sheets on the ends of the stand are needed? There is a board that is showing some surface cracking and there are no center supports under the tank as the sump is quite large. Any insight on any of these problems would be greatly appreciated. I want to make a removable surround and the plywood sticks out passed the tank, so that's why I want to remove it. Dimensions of the tank are 6ft L*2.5ft W*2ft H

I removed the plywood and beefed the hell out of the stand. It wasn't very sturdy when I got it,but now you cant even budge it at all. I put the sump in and then added the center supports. He just had the cent supports sitting in there so they were easily removable, which rendered them basically useless.
