Haven't been very active on this forum for a while due to university finals last month but I figure it's time I post my odd pair. They're inseparable, the swim side by side most of the day and there hasn't been ever been any signs of aggression. The jardini is 21" and the silver is about 17". Obviously I keep and eye on them but as of now see no reason they'll need to be separated.

I will mention the size difference isn't as big as it seems in the photo. The jardini is at the front and the silver is at the very back on the pic

Keep an eye out for that Jar. When they turn mean, they really are nasty

They've been together since smallish. Around the 8-10" mark. So not babies but still young. The jar is past 20" now and I haven't seen aggression yet and the silvers almost there, just a couple inches shy.

Good luck with chance that it does not get aggressive,In my experience I always had to get rid of the jardini when they got large had mine in with 36 inch silver, when jar hit 24 inches would not leave my silver alone had both fish for eight years.even went after my red tail Guarami that was about 20 inches at the time
