hey guys I recently have gotten access to a gulf toadfish, Opsanus beta. I have decided I am going to set up an aquarium for him but I have a few questions and would like some input. he is in QT at work right now and probably will not be ready to come out for three to five weeks, but I need to get its aquarium set up soon, that way the tank can cycle and be ready for it to be acclimated into the new habitat.

what size tank should he have?

how can I recreate his habitat?

are there any other fish/ inverts he will be compatible with?

any other information you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the Opsanus toads are fairly easy to keep. Give it lots of rocky spots to hide under. They are ambush predators, so anything small that it can suck down might end up as a meal.
I had a breeding group of Oyster toads (Opsanus tau)awhile ago. The females get very aggressive when defending their nests.
