Too much flow for a clownfish?

I set up a smaller tank (20 Gallon) for a clownfish pair (Ocellaris), but noticed one was practically stuck against the filter this morning, and they seem to struggle swimming in the current. At the moment it is just a simple tetra whisper filter rated for 30-60 gallon tanks, but seems to be turning over the water like a champ.

I know they are awkward swimmers when compared to other SW species, but could the filter be pushing them around too much? Should I scale back my filtration?

Should not be a problem. Are they eating and healthy? Usually fish that get stuck to the filter are unhealthy and going to die.

They're eating NLS like champs twice a day, almost jump out of the tank to grab it; no physical marks or indication of disease. All the crabs and snails seem okay too. I will say it was first thing in the morning when I turned the lights on if that has anything to do with it.

I'll see if I can scale back the flow, is there anything else that I should be looking for in them for stress?
