Been reading up on prime and API ammonia tests. I know prime can cause false positives and odd color changed but if you get a 0 ammonia is that real? I have the seachem multi test and can't stand it. The reason I ask is because I am moving my fish this weekend and putting a lot of them in new tanks with a mix of currently running and new filters per tanks. I use prime/safe and need to know if a negative is a negative. Thanks

API test kits will give you false positives, not false negatives when using Prime.
If your API test kit says you have 0 ammonia then you have 0 ammonia....UNLESS your test kit chemicals are old/expired and not reacting correctly.
