my florida gar has not eaten in a few days and he has a lump on his throat any one know what i can do to help him

if its a white lump it sounds like lymphocitis, doing a water change increasing the temps and adding some aquarium salt seems to help. is there any way you could post a pic? need some more info to to see if its the lympho or possible injury. what are the water parameters?
thanks for helping his lump is white it seems like it is formed with the throat recently he got the lump after that he does not eat anymore.
also the water parameters are ammonia 0 ph 7.3
